At Crofton Music Trust, safety and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all children, adults, and volunteers involved in our programmes. Our team has completed Bandsafe safeguarding training with Brass Bands England, ensuring we follow best practice in youth music settings
Our safeguarding approach
- We follow national guidance on safeguarding and child protection
- All staff and volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults have an enhanced DBS check
- Our Safeguarding Lead (Amy Turner) is trained and available to respond to any concerns
- We run regular safeguarding reviews and risk assessments
- All sessions follow our internal Safeguarding and Health & Safety policies
