Whether you’re a beginner, a returning player, or a child picking up an instrument for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.
Crofton Brass Roots – our friendly and inclusive beginner group
Crofton Training Band – for progressing players of all ages with prior experience
(This group is not suitable for total beginners, players should already be able to read music and play basic pieces.)
We’re currently exploring a dedicated beginner group for adults. If you’re interested in learning as a complete beginner, please get in touch by emailing info@croftonmusictrust.com – we’d love to hear from you.
Our Mission

- Provide structured pathways for musical progression
- Champion inclusion for disabled musicians and underrepresented groups
- Strengthen community through shared music-making
