Roger Hine is the  Chairman of Crofton Music Trust and Crofton Silver Band, and a band member since July 1993. Roger began playing a brass instrument at school at the age of 13 and played in Wakefield Youth Band, Yorkshire Youth Band and Oxfordshire Youth Band. He has played with several bands since leaving school, mostly within West Yorkshire.

Being one of the three founder members of the Crofton Junior Band in 1995, he is still volunteering and conducting the latest version, Crofton Silver Bandits.

Roger is proud to be involved with Crofton Music Trust which is providing free tuition, music and instruments to children with inclusivity to all backgrounds and disabilities.
